Who decides to become a member of Beit Warszawa…
Beit Warszawa members belong to different age, occupation and social groups. We are united by common views on how a modern Jewish life should look like in today’s Poland. We do not ask anyone about their age, occupation or background. We only require from those who wish to join us that they give us a hand in creating a community where we will be supportive of one another in our communal spiritual development.
Bulletin
Members receive a bulletin informing them about upcoming and recent events at Beit Warszawa, and containing other materials associated with Jewish life in Poland. Members also have the opportunity to co-edit the bulletin by sending in their thoughts on issues of Jewish interest. If you wish to receive the bulleting via e-mail, please contact our office ( office@beit-warszawa.org.pl ).
Membership benefits
Before all else, membership in Beit Warszawa means belonging to a Jewish community and actively participating in its life. Members have a say in what we do and how we do it, and can suggest their own ideas for making the association more useful and appealing.
Beit Warszawa members have access to a special internet discussion panel, receive the community bulletin, are entitled to discounts in many local commercial establishments and can participate in many paid events either free of charge or at a reduced fee.
Who can become a member:
Anyone who holds Beit Warszawa principles and objectives dear to heart can become a member of the community. He or she must be at least 18 years old, must fill out a membership application form and have it supported by two board members, and pay the membership fee.
The annual membership fee is PLN 50 for students and seniors, and PLN 250 for everyone else.
