B’nai Mitzvah

Dear Friends,

Beit Warszawa is pleased to announce the formation of an adult B’nai Mitzvah class for those in the Jewish community who were denied the opportunity to experience this very critical rite of passage in the Jewish life cycle.

The class will begin on Saturday November 4 at 3:30pm and will continue weekly for the next five months. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend Shabbat morning services Torah study and join the members of Beit Warszawa for lunch and afternoon discussions. Classes will run approximately 90 minutes; topics will include the structure of Jewish prayer , Torah and Haftarah reading and cantillation and analyzing Jewish text.

The ability to read Hebrew is required and students must be either into Jewish families or have converted to Judaism under rabbinic supervision. Classes will be taught by Rabbi Burt Schuman, spiritual leader of Beit Warszawa.

Tuition is 90zl. for non-members and 75zl. for members of Beit Warszawa, payable in two installments. All classes will be held at Beit Warszawa 113 Ulica Wietnicza.
