If you want your child to get acquainted with basics of Judaism and Jewish traditions in a welcoming and freindly environment, and if you want him or her to learn about different cultures and gain appreciation for music and art, bring your child to us. Beit Sefer Alef, Sunday school for children 4 to 13 years old, offers games, workshops and activities that include:
- Jewish holidays and customs
- Jewish Values
- Introduction to Torah
- Hebrew
- Dance
- Individual piano lessons
- Multicultural education
- Jewish cooking
- Learning good manners
- Theatre performances and films
- Outings and excursions.
Our school is staffed by experienced and creative teachers led by Dorota Wodnicka and Magdalena Barbas. The school is also supervised by the rabbis of Beit Warszawa, Rabbi Burt Schuman and Rabbi Tanya Segal, who have experience in working with children. Additionally Rabbi Segal has performance arts background and runs theater and music activities with children.
We also offer Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparations. Alongside activities for children we may organize workshops for parents and meetings with a psychologist. Beit Sefer Alef is open every week from 10 am to 2 pm. Snacks, drinks and lunch are served.
